The Daily Gwei - Day 0

Welcome friends!

Today, I’m launching a brand new daily newsletter that will focus exclusively on the Ethereum ecosystem called ‘The Daily Gwei’!

Gwei is a denomination of Ether (ETH) which is used to calculate transaction fees (gas) on the Ethereum network.

The Ethereum ecosystem is growing at an incredible pace and keeping up with it all has become a full time job in of itself - that’s where this newsletter comes in! It’ll act as a platform for me to provide daily updates on the Ethereum ecosystem along with my own commentary. I’ll be focusing on 1 to 2 of the biggest events that happen each day and aiming to keep the newsletter relatively short (around 500 words) so that it basically becomes a quick 3-5 minute read for subscribers.

On that note, I’ll be publishing this newsletter from Monday to Friday at around 8AM-10AM EDT (convert that to your timezone here). Monday’s edition will be special in that it’ll cover the events from the weekend.

Depending on the kind of reception I get for this newsletter, I’ll probably change it to a paid model sometime in the future as curating and writing about content on a daily basis is no small feat. Pricing won’t be too crazy - probably $5 to $10 a month (with discounts for people who pay in ETH because it’s money). For now though, this newsletter is 100% free!

You may be wondering what’s going to happen to the EthHub Weekly Newsletter. Well, that’s not going anywhere! It’ll still be hitting inboxes every Monday morning as per usual (you can check that out here by the way) and Eric and I will be still be doing the weekly recap podcast. This newsletter is just an additional personal project that I’ve decided to launch.
